PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device capable of removing deposits in a reactor efficiently and accurately. SOLUTION: This treatment device 200 for decomposing a waste to be treated by hydrothermal reaction is characteristic in that a cleaning medium 24 is allowed to collide inside a reactor 6 which has finished the treatment of a waste to be treated, so that an unreacted material or a decomposition product depositing on the reactor 6 can be physically removed. Preferably the treatment device is equipped with an air current generating means 20 which generates an air current. The cleaning medium 24 is flexible and flake-like one flying by an air current. Further, the flake-like cleaning medium 24 is allowed to collide with the interior of the used and removed reactor 6 by the air current generated by the air current generating means 20.
