PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device, securing conservation of a medium while securing a sufficient time for extracting a plurality of media. SOLUTION: The automatic transaction device 1 is configured to perform a transaction by delivering two or more types of media through a delivery port provided for each medium according to a user's operation, and is equipped with: a residue detection sensor which detects a change in remaining state of a medium discharged to the delivery port; and a control unit 9 which executes recovery processing when a medium extraction failure is determined based on the change in remaining state of the medium, and controls an individual extraction waiting time before execution of extraction failure processing. When the residue detection sensor detects extraction of the medium in at least one delivery port within a preset individual extraction waiting time (step S104), the control unit 9 changes the individual extraction waiting time in a delivery port in which the remaining state is not changed (step S105).
