PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure productivity of a booklet, after correcting a shape of a booklet back part when necessary, by determining the possibility of performing back face processing in response to a size of a swelling. SOLUTION: When a saddle stitching mode (S1), an automatic selecting mode (S2), thick paper (S3) and paper 10 are more than the predetermined sheet number, when the back face processing is selected, not in the automatic selecting mode (S7), and when the paper number is more than 20 sheets in thin paper, the back face processing is performed by setting a speed of a carrier belt to the low speed side (S6), and when the paper number is less than 20 sheets not in the thick paper, when the back face processing is not selected, not in the automatic selecting mode, not in the saddle stitching mode, and when the paper number is less than 10 sheets in the thick paper, a sheet bundle is ejected without performing the back face processing (S10) by setting the speed of the carrier belt to the high speed side.
