<p>A treatment instrument for an endoscope is provided with: a pair of forceps members (11, 12) supported by a forceps pivot shaft (13) so as to be pivotable relative to each other; an operation section (20) for performing opening and closing operation of the pair of forceps members; an operation wire (31) for connecting the operation section and the pair of forceps members; a connection member (34) provided to the tip of the operation wire and having one or more link pivot shafts (34A, 34B); a pair of link members (35, 36) having first ends respectively pivotably connected to the base ends of the pair of forceps members and also having second ends respectively pivotably connected to the link pivot shafts; and a restriction section (33) for restricting the direction of movement of the connection member and the operation wire relative to the forceps pivot shaft. The connection member has a groove (34C) formed parallel to the axis of the operation wire. The restriction section engages with the groove to restrict the direction of the relative movement between the connection member and the operation wire.</p> |
