A method and system for providing interactive enhanced content to a viewer of a television broadcast, the system including a client device, the client device being adapted to send and receive data over a wide area network (WAN); a server, the server having access to a programming schedule corresponding to the television broadcast and further having access to enhanced content associated to at least one program of the programming schedule; wherein the client device is further adapted to receive the programming schedule from the server and to allow the viewer to select a program from the programming schedule; and wherein the server is adapted to receive an indication from the client device of the selected program and send to the client device, in response to the indication, enhanced content associated to the program.
