PURPOSE: A method and a device for charging a wireless internet usage fee by sensing a virus packet of a communication network are provided to charge a wireless internet usage fee of a subscriber by filtering a harmful code packet or virus which is a cause by error charging. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring unit(410) monitors a packet which is transceived from a mobile communication terminal. A determining unit(420) determines whether a character set, which is promised to the packet, is included or not. If the promised character set is included, a charging processing unit(430) charges a packet transmission rate. If the promised character set is not included, the charge processing unit does not charge about the packet transceiving unit.
