<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage container with a straw that does not make a user feel inconvenient to operate the container. <P>SOLUTION: The beverage container 1 has a valve body 21 made of an elastic material elastically deformable when a pressing operation is performed. The valve body 21 includes: an opening/closing valve 20 that shifts from a closed state in which the inside and outside of a container body 2 do not communicate with each other by virtue of elastic deformation resulting from the pressing operation to an open state in which the inside and outside do not communicate, and that returns to the closed state from the open state by removing the elastic deformation through releasing the valve body from the pressing operation; an engaging portion 41 provided adjacent to the valve body 21; and an operating member 42 that can press the valve body 21 by engaging with the engaging portion 41 with a straw cap 9 located in an open position and that can release the valve body 21 from the pressing operation by disengaging from the engaging portion 41 when the straw cap 9 is moved from the open position to the closed position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
