<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high dust collecting efficiency even with a crosslinked structure for improving a maintainability for an electric precipitator collecting dust in the air. <P>SOLUTION: The dust collecting part 1 of the electric precipitator alternately includes a high-voltage electrode 2 and a dust collecting electrode 3. The high-voltage electrode 2 is constituted of a conductor 4 and a covering film 5 comprising of a semi-conductive material, and possesses a projection 6 on the surface. The high-voltage electrode 2 is designed slidable in a length direction. In maintenance, when the high-voltage electrode 2 is slided, the projection 6 slides on the surface of the collecting electrode 3 to scrape off the deposited dust. By this constitution, the dust is eliminated in a simple operation, thus the maintainability being improved. Also, in such a constitution of the high-voltage electrode 2, even when the voltage is applied for a long period of time, the potential between the high-voltage electrode 2 and the collecting electrode 3 is not reduced. Hence, even when the crosslinked structure for improving maintainability is possessed, the electric precipitator maintaining high dust collecting efficiency can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
