PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus and a method of controlling the same achieving shortening of a time until reopening the image recording by means of adjustment of ink temperature after replacing an ink bottle without bringing about the larger-scale configuration. SOLUTION: When the ink bottle 42 is replaced, an ink supply driving part 10 is closed.
