PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus, method and program, capable of helping a user to recognize a sponsor of a program serving as an information source for introducing a desired place. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus 1 for guiding a travel route to a predetermined destination includes a program information acquisition unit 72 for acquiring program information, a program content identifying part 73 for identifying a place broadcast in the program and the sponsor of the program based on the program information acquired by the program information acquisition unit 72, and a function control unit 71 for controlling a predetermined function of the navigation apparatus 1 so that the sponsor identified by the program content identifying part 73 can be recognized when the place identified by the program content identifying part 73 is set as the destination.
