PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical beam-scanning device which minimizes the number of sensors for detecting horizontal synchronization, decreases a deflection angle necessary for the horizontal synchronization and writes at least two latent images among a plurality of latent images using a plurality of light beams. SOLUTION: An optical beam-scanning device includes a horizontal synchronization unit which gives a plurality of light beams deflected with a light deflection unit. The light deflection unit deflects the light beams forming the plurality of latent images by one surface. The horizontal synchronization unit includes a reflecting mirror part and a detection sensor part, each reflecting mirror part has a reflection angle which is the same in a main-scanning direction and different in a sub-scanning direction by set of a plurality of light beams forming each latent image, and reflects so that a set of light beams forming each latent image intersect at a position equivalent to a prescribed image face, and a detection sensor unit is provided at intersection point of a plurality of sets of the light beams which form each reflected latent image and detects each light beam.
