PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content playback device which prevents from hindering other users who enjoy regular contents without desiring playback of distribution contents (contents for distribution) such as timer music. SOLUTION: When grading processing is performed after playback of music data during playback, finish time of the grading processing is specified, and playback start time of reservation application in which playback is reserved is specified. Based on the specified results, it is determined whether, playback and grading processing of the music data during playback is finished by the playback start time of the reservation application in which playback is reserved. When it is determined that playback and grading processing of the music data during playback is not finished by the playback start time of the reservation application in which playback is reserved, time is calculated when grading processing should be started in order to finish the grading processing by the playback start time of the reservation application in which playback is reserved, and the grading processing is started by the calculated time, in the content playback device.
