PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of an object to be detected while reducing a cost increase and ensuring assembly workability even when the moving distance of the object to be detected is long. SOLUTION: The position detection sensor includes: a pair of frames 11a, 11b which have a long shape, are arranged facing each other, and are formed of a magnetic material; a magnet 122 for magnetizing these frames 11a, 11b; and a magnetic sensor 128 which is arranged movable with respect to the object to be detected and converts a change in the direction of a magnetic field between the pair of frames 11a, 11b along with the movement of the object to be detected into an electric signal. The direction of the magnetic field between the pair of frames 11a, 11b along with the movement of the object to be detected is rotated at the position of the magnetic sensor 128.
