The circuit arrangement comprises an input for connecting the circuit arrangement with a voltage source, particularly a battery. An output (Vout) is provided for connecting one or multiple electric consumers, a direct current regulator (1) and a negative-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor arrangement (3). The circuit arrangement has a positive-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (2), which is connected parallel to the direct current regulator and the negative-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor arrangement. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying electricity in electric consumers in a vehicle electrical system by a circuit arrangement for vehicle power supply stabilization.
