<p>The present invention provides a method and system for initiating video-assisted voice call and a network device. The method for initiating video-assisted voice call comprises that: in the process a voice call, a first terminal obtains the network address of a second terminal from the network side by using the user number of the second terminal, and establishes a video connection with the second terminal according to the network address; the first terminal and the second terminal carries on a video call by using the video connection. In the technical solution of this invention, based on ENUM techniques, the network address of the other user is found out according to the number of the other user, the video connection is established according to the network address, so that the video call is established, thereby the user's experience can be promoted well.</p> |
