<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular alternator of high reliability and a rectifier of the alternator. <P>SOLUTION: The rectifier, which rectifies alternating-current power from the vehicular alternator into a direct-current power, includes: a full-wave rectifier 2 having multiple MOSFETs 8, 9 that are used as rectifier elements; a MOSFET controller 4 that applies drive signals to the gates of the MOSFETs 8, 9 via gate drive signal lines 14, 15 and thereby commands continuity and discontinuity of the MOSFETs 8, 9; and load circuits 10, 11 that are connected between the gate and the source of each of the MOSFETs 8, 9 for bleeding down electric charge accumulated by a gate capacitance, if the gate drive signal lines is interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
