<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical core wire discrimination device capable of maintaining excellent core wire discrimination characteristics, without replacing a head with respect to a plurality of optical fibers having each different coating diameter. <P>SOLUTION: This optical core wire discrimination device includes an optical core wire discrimination head 4 on which a bent part 41 for leaking a light signal by bending partially an optical fiber 9 is formed, and a body part provided with the optical core wire discrimination head 4. The body part includes: a light receiving element holding part 8 on which a recessed part 81 to be fitted to the bent part 41 of the optical core wire discrimination head 4 is formed, for holding two light receiving elements 82 oppositely to the bent part 41 along the recessed part 81; and an operation lever for moving the light receiving element holding part 8 relatively to the body part. The optical core wire discrimination head 4 includes a movable means 42 for moving the bent part 41 corresponding to the coating diameter of the optical fiber 9 clamped between the optical core wire discrimination head 4 and the light receiving element holding part 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
