DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COMMUNICATION TRAFFIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a communication traffic capable of rapidly and accurately controlling the communication traffic.

SOLUTION: A communication traffic-volume acquisition 601 continuously acquires communication traffic-volumes at every split area. A predict traffic-volume estimator 603 computes the variations of the communication traffic-volumes in areas to be controlled in the split areas and the variations of the communication traffic-volumes in the peripheral areas of the areas to be controlled. The predict traffic-volume estimator 603 estimates subsequent predict traffic-volumes of the areas to be controlled on the basis of the variations of the communication traffic-volumes in the computed areas to be controlled and the variations of the communication traffic-volumes of the peripheral areas. A communication-traffic controller 604 controls the communication traffics to the areas to be controlled on the basis of the predict traffic-volumes estimated by the predict traffic-volume estimator.
