PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior structure capable of reducing a striker insertion hole formed in a lining to a minimum necessary dimension when a striker is installed in a wheel house. SOLUTION: In the vehicle interior structure, a locking mechanism is comprised of a latch disposed in a lower part of a seat cushion, and the striker 24 engageable with a latch installed in a vehicle body. A seat can be raised by releasing the locking mechanism. The striker 24 is installed in the wheel house. An opening 120 for exposing the striker 24 is disposed in a rear wheel house lining 93 covering the wheel house.
