PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic tone decorative resin molded piece improved in design performance by arranging a metallic tone decorative sheet as an intermediate layer, and a method for manufacturing the metallic tone decorative resin molded piece. SOLUTION: The metallic tone decorative resin molded piece is constituted of a sheet layer 3 which has a base sheet 2 and a metallic tone member 1 imbedded in one of the surfaces of the base sheet 2, a first resin layer 25 formed on the other surface of the base sheet 2, and a transparent second resin layer 26 molded by being superposed on the base sheet 2 of the sheet layer 3 and the metallic tone member 1.
