PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently correct a direction of an image of each page within a short time while also reflecting an image correcting instruction to a desired page of double-side scan data on another page. SOLUTION: Double-side scan data obtained by scanning both sides of a double-side document through a reading part 11 are stored in a storage part 13. Thereafter, an image direction correction processing part 163 displays a screen including a thumbnail image for at least one page of the double-side scan data and rotation instruction tools instructing rotations of an image of the page at 90°or at 180°. When an instruction of 90°rotation to the page is received from a user on the screen, image data of all pages are corrected through 90°rotation. When an instruction of 180°to the page is received, if the page is an odd-numbered page, images of all odd-numbered pages are, or if the page is an even-numbered page, images of all even-numbered pages are corrected through 180°rotation.
