摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for a vehicle appropriately braking the vehicle and efficiently recovering the kinetic energy of the vehicle as electric energy. SOLUTION: The braking device S for the vehicle includes a hydraulic pump 12 rotatably driving by being connected to a brake drum 11 rotating integrally with a wheel W. A hydraulic circuit 20 is operationally controlled by a control device 40 and changes the flow rate of a working fluid (fluid) circulating through the pump 12 when braking the vehicle to impart a load to the rotation drive of the pump 12, and applies braking force to the drum 11 (wheel W). A power recovery part 30 is assembled to the circuit 20. The recovery part 30 converts the thermal energy of the fluid converted from the kinetic energy of the vehicle and increasing with the change of flow rate in the circuit 20 in braking the vehicle into electric energy and recovers as electric power.
