PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the decrease in the rigidity of an instrument panel on the outer periphery of a joint, causing deflection, when the instrument panel and a chute which are each molded separately are joined by, for example, vibration welding. SOLUTION: A joint structure includes joining the chute 1 for mounting an airbag onto vehicle interior equipment such as the instrument panel 2 by, for example, the vibration welding. A flange 1a formed on a surface of the chute 1 facing a reverse surface 2a of the instrument panel 2 on the opposite side of a cabin has a comb shape. The instrument panel 2 and the chute 1 are joined to each other in the state where ribs 2b formed on the reverse surface 2a of the instrument panel 2 on the opposite side of the cabin are provided between the comb teeth formed on the flange 1a. This prevents the gap provided on the outer periphery of the flange from being a continuous straight line, allowing a portion where no ribs are formed to be intermissive in a recessed and projected shape; thereby increasing the rigidity of the instrument panel on the outer periphery of the flange where no ribs are formed.
