PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which can suppress the deterioration of image quality. SOLUTION: The printing apparatus has (A) a nozzle from which a dye ink of a certain color is delivered, (B) a nozzle from which a pigment ink of the certain color is ejected, (C) a sensor which outputs a signal corresponding to a temperature change of the ink, and (D) a control part (E) which prints an image by using both the dye ink and the pigment ink when the image including a certain color is printed, and prints the image by making larger a ratio of a delivering amount of the dye ink per unit area to a delivering amount of the pigment ink per unit area when the ink temperature is not higher than a threshold in comparison with the case that the ink temperature based on the output result of the sensor is higher than the threshold.
