PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverting device for a cylinder cover which safely inverts a cylinder cover of an engine 180° upside down without requiring a worker. SOLUTION: A frame 11 includes a movable member of which position is adjusted in an up-and-down direction by a hydraulic jack. The movable member includes a rotation member 31 rotated by a rotation means 40. The rotation member 31 includes a mounting part 33 on which the cylinder cover 2 is mounted. A rod insertion through-hole passing through the cylinder cover 2 in an up-and-down direction and fixing rods 35a, 35b, 35c inserted through bolt insertion holes are erectly provided at the mounting part 33. A fixing nut 37 is screwed on an upper ends of the fixing rods 35a, 35b, 35c projecting to an upper part of the cylinder cover 2.
