PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work safety device in a sewerage system where a simple system can be temporarily and easily installed, and a worker can safely work at ease in a manhole and throughout the sewage line. SOLUTION: The work safety device in the sewerage system is intended for maintenance and inspection in the sewage channel which is connected with the interior and the bottom of the manhole and disposed almost horizontally. In the work safety device, a plastic ladder 3 having a bracket 4 suspended from an anchor bolt in the manhole 1 is disposed so as to reach the bottom surface in the sewerage 2 from the entrance of the manhole. A rescue rope 8 is suspended from a hook 9 along the ladder into the manhole. A water net 10 is stretched at the downstream side of the sewage channel for receiving a human body. A rescue rope 11 is stretched by the hooks on the side wall of the sewage channel at least from the bottom of the manhole to the water net. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
