PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for vehicle which can reduce conditioned air containing odor being supplied when starting air conditioning during the ride. SOLUTION: The air conditioner for vehicle 100 is provided with an air conditioner case 10 which includes an air passageway 10a inside, an evaporator 7 which exchanges heat between the cooling medium that flows inside the air conditioner case 10 and the air that flows inside the air passageway 10a, an indoor blower 14 which blows air into the interior of the vehicle, and an air conditioner controlling device 50 which controls the actuation of a compressor 2 which supplies the cooling medium to the evaporator 7 and the indoor blower 14, and can blow air into the evaporator 7 by the indoor blower 14 while the vehicle is being parked. The air conditioner controlling device 50 stops supplying the cooling medium into the evaporator 7 by controlling the actuation of the compressor 2 and blows air into the evaporator 7 by controlling the actuation of the indoor blower 14 while the vehicle is being parked until the evaporator 7 determines that it is in a drying condition with no odor being generated using the temperature information regarding the evaporator 7.
