PURCHARGE SECURE APPLICATION MODULE FOR COMPATIBLE TRAFFIC CARD AND MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREFORE

PURPOSE: A PSAM(Purchase Secure Application Module) for a compatible traffic card and a management method therefore are provided to increase the application fields and distribution of electronic cash by allowing a user to perform traffic payment through one traffic card. CONSTITUTION: An information storage unit stores key information for each electronic cash company, a traffic card PSAM(Purchase Secure Application Module) and transaction authentication information. A PSAM controller receives transaction information from a traffic card through a terminal. Based on the key information for each electronic cash company and the transaction authentication information, the PSAM controller generates the information for the transaction between the traffic card PSAM and the traffic card. The PSAM controller performs the transaction with the traffic card based on the transaction information, the transaction authentication information and the generated information.
