<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device which is improved in operability, the device executing processing easily when a paper jam occurs between a photoreceptor drum and a conveying belt. <P>SOLUTION: The image-forming device includes an upper cover 11 which opens and closes to a body case 10. In this case, a state, in which the upper cover 11 only opens and closes, and a state, in which the upper cover 11 and a cartridge case 51 (photoreceptor cartridge 53) integrally open and close together, are selectively, movably provided.
