TIRE WITH RUBBER TREAD CONTAINING COMBINATION OF RESIN BLEND AND FUNCTIONALIZED ELASTOMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire accelerating static friction of a tread at a high tread temperature accompanying a high automobile speed.

SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire with an outer circumference tread including a running surface comprises: a styrene/butadiene (SBR) rich rubber composition containing two kinds of SBRs having mutually different glass transition temperatures (Tg); and a combination of at least three kinds of resins having mutually different softening points. One of the two kinds of SBRs is a functionalized SBR having a functional group reactive with a hydroxyl group on a precipitated silica. A reinforcement filler is a combination of the precipitated silica and specialized rubber reinforcing carbon black.
