PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a high speed, without its dropped sheet-like article by contacting with a driving means and damaging, even if the sheet-like article drops from carrying passages by high speed operation. SOLUTION: This lateral directional interval changing device includes the carrying passages 13a, 14a and 15a for carrying the sheet-like article (a PTP sheet 1) in two rows, and a push-sending conveyor device 12 arranged above its carrying passages and push-sending the sheet-like article while moving along its carrying passages. An interval between the carrying passages of the two rows includes a direction changing area (the second carrying passage 14a) gradually changing along the carrying direction, and the push-sending conveyor device includes a push-sending claw arranged with every carrying passage and a driving means for moving its push-sending claw along the respective carrying passages.
