PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ribbon microphone, and more specifically, a method of mounting a ribbon diaphragm for a ribbon microphone unit. SOLUTION: The ribbon microphone includes a permanent magnet forming a magnetic field and the ribbon diaphragm 3 comprising an aluminum that is placed inside the magnetic field and vibrates in response to sound waves. The method of manufacturing the ribbon microphone includes a step in which end parts in the length direction of the ribbon diaphragm 3 are pinched with a tool 1 to the tip part of which short fibers are electrostatically transplanted to adjust tension of the ribbon diaphragm 3. The ribbon diaphragm 3 shown in Figure has parts vibrating in response to the sound waves, the parts being bent alternately in the length direction and formed into a triangular waveform, and has flat both end parts 5 in the length direction.
