PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device body, an individual device, a display device and an inspection method capable of easily performing failure inspection and repairing of the individual device separated from the display device body constituting a display device. SOLUTION: The display device body includes a display part having a control part; and a first connection part having a first connector connected with the individual device separated from the display device body, and the first connector has a plurality of terminals. The first connection part has the first state that the terminals of the first connector are connected to each other such that the plurality of terminals of the first connector become daisy chain connection when the individual device is connected to the first connector and the second state that the plurality of terminals of the first connector are connected to the display part such that inputting/outputting of a signal is executed between the individual device and the display part through the plurality of terminals of the first connector.
