PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device that appropriately prevents data shift on a reception side by appropriately adjusting skew in terms of synchronous data transmission between a plurality of transmission sides and reception sides and then performing data transmission, and to provide a data transfer control method, a data transfer control program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: In multifunction equipment 1, when transmitting image data which must be transmitted synchronously from a plurality of transfer controllers 7a and 7b to a printing processing part 8, reference signals Ks received by the transfer controllers 7a and 7b is input in the transfer controllers 7b and 7a each other, and transmitted/received as a comparison reference signal Ksh through transfer circuits 30a and 30b and a reference signal transfer path 11, a time difference between the reference signal Ks and the comparison reference signal Ksh is detected, and data transmission timing to the printing processing part 8 is adjusted based on a skew value being the time difference.
