PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidirectional reinforcing fiber fabric having thin thickness, minimized slippage and excellent drape characteristics, and especially suitable for aircraft and general industrial use; and to achieve a method for efficiently producing the reinforcing fiber fabric. SOLUTION: The bidirectional reinforcing fiber fabric comprises a hot-melt fiber or a compound yarn (3) comprising a reinforcing yarn and the hot-melt fiber, and a warp (1) comprising a reinforcing fiber aligned parallel to the hot-melt fiber, etc., wherein the warp (1) is bonded to a weft (2) at an arbitrary point in the warp direction with the hot-melt fiber at an oblique angle of 30-60°. The oblique angle is an inclination angleθof the weft measured by cutting the reinforcing fiber fabric to a piece of (200 mm in warp direction)×(200 mm in weft direction), fixing one side of the warp direction of the piece on a horizontal plane, and horizontally pulling a point on the opposite side in a direction parallel to the warp at a constant speed until a part of the fabric is warped at the crossing point of the warp and weft.
