<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller for determining the turning intention of a driver, and for starting control necessary for turning early. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle controller is provided with: a turning intention detector 2 for detecting the turning intention of a driver based on reaction torque received by a wheel from a road surface in deflecting the wheel; and a brake control unit 3 for controlling an actuator 4 for the turning operation of the vehicle. The brake control unit 3 detects the turning intention of the driver from the reaction torque received by the wheel from the road surface in deflecting the wheel by controlling driving of the actuator 4 based on the output of the turning intention detector 2, and starts control before the steering is operated by the driver or the amounts of vehicle states are generated, and executes control in an early timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
