PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure capable of suppressing or preventing the outflow of grease existing in a rolling element setting space 9 through an inner end opening in the axial direction of the rolling element setting space 9 without setting up a dedicated seal ring. SOLUTION: A damming plate portion 23, which is bent from an axial outer end edge to the outside of the radial direction, is provided at an axial outer end edge of a fitting cylindrical part 15 made of a metal plate which is fitted externally on the axial inner end of a hub 3 to constitute an encoder 12b. By employing such a structure, the flow of grease, which is about to flow out from the inside of the rolling element setting space 9 through the inner end opening in the axial direction of the rolling element setting space 9, is prevented to some extent or completely at the damming plate portion 23.
