PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit that prevents deterioration of a fuse as much as possible, and extends the lifetime of the fuse, to extend the replacement period. SOLUTION: The power unit 1 includes a battery 3 for supplying power to a motor 30, and the fuse 5 connected to the battery 3. A current limiting circuit 15 for adjusting a current of the battery 3 is provided. A fuse temperature is estimated from a detected fuse current and an ambient temperature.
