PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle station device of a train radio system wherein reliability is improved and transmission time can be shortened. SOLUTION: A transmission line over which control data is transferred by connecting between opposite stations I/F 1 and 2 provided in front and rear of a vehicle is configured as a duplex system of optical fibers 3A and 3B. The opposite stations I/F 1 and 2 are provided with SERDES 5A and SERDES 5B respectively on the opposite sides of the duplexed optical fibers 3A and 3B so that error information can be acquired from the control data on the receiver side, and a serial transmission path duplexing control unit 13 which performs switching control is provided so that the control data is acquired from the error-free optical fibers 3A, 3B by the transceiver framers 12A, 12B in a connection state detection unit 6 when the error information is acquired.
