PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight decorative panel which is simply constituted, which makes costs low and which has various functionalities, and a structure for mounting the decorative panel, which enables construction to be easily performed even by an amateur. SOLUTION: This quadrangular decorative panel 1, which is mounted and fixed on a wall surface P etc. of a building, is formed of bases 2 (2a and 2b) which are formed in a quadrangular shape in a front view and which have steps 4 notched along the outer periphery of the backside, and a covering material 3 which covers a surface of the base and end surfaces of four sides of a quadrangle continuing into it and which covers the outer periphery of the backside of the base. The base 2 is formed of a corrugated cardboard; the covering material is texture; and the decorative panel 1 is provided a functional member 5 between the base 2 and the covering material 3. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 25 makes retainers 10 fixed to the wall surface P corresponding to four corners of the quadrangular base 2; a fixing implement 20 is detachably fitted into the retainer; and the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 25 makes the decorative panel 1 fixed to the retainer 20 via the fixing implement 20.
