PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna element 1 for inspecting propriety concerning a resonance frequency characteristic without measuring a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). SOLUTION: The antenna element includes: an insulating substrate 2 where a power feeding part 3 and one or a plurality of antenna circuits 4A, 4B, 4C are formed on the main surface, whose one-side ends 4Aa, 4Ba, 4Ca are connected to the power feeding part 3 and the other ends 4Ab, 4Bb, 4Cb are opened; and a protection sheet 6 laminated on the insulating substrate 2 so as to cover the antenna circuit 4. The protection sheet 6 has openings 51, 52, 53 which are formed at positions of other ends 4Ab, 4Bb, 4Cb on the insulating substrate that are fixed by the resonance frequency of the antenna circuit 4.
