In a next-generation vehicle image display system, a plurality of electronic control units for controlling a number of electronic parts mounted to a vehicle are organically connected by a vehicle network line. A display information processor receives all information from each of the electronic control units, which are transferred via the vehicle network line; and then sorts out all information relevant to any trouble in the vehicle that should be displayed to a user in real time, in a predetermined order of priority. An image display unit combines the information to be displayed to the driver at all times and the information sorted by the display information processor to suit real-time situations; and displays the information graphically. With the system described above, all kinds of vehicle internal information can be processed efficiently and displayed freely to the driver. Accordingly, the driver can quickly and accurately learn any kind of information about the vehicle as well as information on any trouble in the vehicle through the image display unit, thereby avoiding an accident in advance. |
