PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device manufacturing method is provided to reduce the thickness of the LCD device by placing LEDs without using a housing. CONSTITUTION: A cover bottom(150) includes a reflector(125) which is settle inside the cover bottom, and a light guide plate(123) which is installed in the reflector. A plurality of LEDs is installed on one side of the light guide plate. An LED assembly(129) comprises an FPCB(flexible printed circuit board), and a support main(130) which is arranged along the edge of the LED assembly. An optical sheet(121) is placed upper part of the light guide plate.
