<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for inkjet and an inkjet recording method printable with high quality at high speed without causing the strike-through or bleeding even to a various recoding medium, particularly paper and enhancing the storage stability of the ink before recording. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The ink for inkjet contains a gelating agent having a basic part, a gelating agent having no basic part and an active light-curable composition cationically polymerizable by the active light. (2) In the ink for the inkjet, the basic part of the gelating agent having the basic part is an associative part expressed by general formula (1):R<SP>2</SP>CONHR<SP>1</SP>. In the formula, each of R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>is independently expresses alkyl or phenyl which can have substituent.
