<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting system and a liquid crystal display device by which, for example, white light travels efficiently to an external to increase a light amount. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lighting system A1 includes a substrate 1, a plurality of LED bare chips 2 mounted on a surface 1a of the substrate 1, a translucent member 4 arranged in a position opposite to the substrate 1 with the LED bare chips 2 sandwiched therebetween and emitting light of a different wavelength from light from the LED bare chips 2 by receiving light from the LED bare chips 2 while transmitting at least a part of the light from the LED bare chips 2, and a reflection surface 3a for reflecting at least light travelling along an in-plane direction of the surface 1a of the substrate 1 from the LED bare chips 2 to the translucent member 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
