PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a stereoscopic image which looks shining to a viewer.

SOLUTION: An image generation device for generating an image for the right eye and an image for the left eye which are presented to the right eye and the left eye of a viewer includes: a region detection portion for detecting an object region where subjects in the image for the right eye and the image for the left eye are shining; a change portion for changing at least either tone or brightness of a corresponding object region between the image for the right eye and the image for the left eye; and an output portion for outputting the image for the right eye and the image for the left eye changed by the change portion.
