<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle washing apparatus which can wash powerfully a metallic nozzle more easily. <P>SOLUTION: The nozzle washing apparatus is mounted on inspection and analysis equipment to wash the metallic nozzle 20 provided on the inspection and analysis equipment inspecting or analyzing a liquid specimen. The nozzle washing apparatus comprises a nozzle unit 12 provided with the metallic nozzle 20 used for suction and discharge of a liquid, a treatment tank 16 in which a hydrogen peroxide solution is stored in performing the washing, a movement mechanism relatively moving the metallic nozzle 20 to the treatment tank to make the metallic nozzle 20 go into the treatment tank 16 to dip it in the hydrogen peroxide solution in performing the washing, a linear electrode 40 positioned on the inside of the metallic nozzle 20 penetrated into the treatment tank 16, and a constant-voltage power supply 70 applying a positive voltage to the hydrogen peroxide solution and a negative voltage to the metallic nozzle 20 through the linear electrode 40.
