PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source for driving a magnetron having a printed circuit board capable of being mounted on a mounting plate without fracturing patterns of the printed circuit board. SOLUTION: The power source for driving a magnetron has: the printed circuit board 7; an inverter circuit including a semiconductor switching element 202 for converting commercial frequency power of the power source into high frequency power and a capacitor on the printed circuit board 7; a step-up transformer 204 for transforming the high frequency power produced by an inverter circuit into high voltage power, and supplying the high voltage power to the magnetron which requires high voltage; and a heat-radiating fin 6 for cooling heat generated from the semiconductor switching element 202. The printed circuit board can be mounted on the mounting plate without fracturing the patterns of the printed circuit board since a reinforcing member 8 supporting between the step-up transformer 204 and the heat-radiating fin 6 is provided.
