PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelled detergent composition for toilet which can be fixed on the surface of a toilet bowl or the top surface of a water tank with hand washing and continuously releases effective component by flowing water to carry out washing, aromatization, sterilization, deodorization or the like and to provide a gelled detergent composition carrying out washing, aromatization, sterilization, deodorization or the like by releasing the effective component continuously by flowing water. SOLUTION: The gelled detergent composition for toilet is applied on the surface of the toilet bowl or the flowing water contact surface of the top surface of the water tank with hand washing or is housed in a container mounted on the top cover of the water tank and contains polyoxy ethylene alkylene ether expressed in the following general formula (1), RO(C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O)<SB>n</SB>H...(1), (in the formula, (n) expresses integers of 13-50 and R expresses a 12-18C linear or branched alkyl).
