<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control device capable of preferably controlling the acoustic effect. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting control device 1 for controlling the lighting of a discharge lamp 7 includes: a power control part 2 that generates a stepped-down potential by stepping-down an applied potential to thereby control input power; an inverter part 4 that is connected to the power control part 2 and converts direct current supplied from the power control part 2 to alternating current; and a control part 6 that controls the inverter part 4. While the discharge lamp 7 is being driven, the control part 6 supplies to the inverter part a drive signal provided with a plurality of stop periods of a half period of the alternating current irregularly within such a range that the discharge lamp can be maintained lit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
